A KIND PERSON. A PRACTICAL PAIR OF HANDS.
Hi, I’m Carla.
I’m a professional organiser based in Bridgend.
Sometimes, you don’t need more hours in the day.
You just need a little helping hand.
I created Little Helping Hand from something I’ve always loved doing: helping people feel calmer, happier and more supported in their homes and their lives.
After eight years working in the removal industry — and being the person family and friends call when a home needs sorting, organising or bringing back to life — I realised that something that comes naturally to me can make a real difference to someone else.
Because sometimes, you don’t need more hours in the day.
You just need a little helping hand.
Imagine moving into your new home without weeks of boxes and chaos. Your clothes are unpacked, wardrobes organised, kitchen arranged around the way you live and everything has found its place.
Or perhaps you’re not moving. Life has simply become busy, clutter has crept in and you’re ready to feel at home in your space again.
That’s where I come in.
Whether you’re moving, decluttering, reorganising or simply craving a fresh start, I bring practical help, thoughtful organisation and genuine care.
We start exactly where you are.
Support when life feels difficult
Little Helping Hand is also here for the moments we wish we didn’t have to face.
If you’ve lost someone you love, sorting through their belongings can feel overwhelming. I can work alongside you, at your pace, helping you decide what to keep, pass on to family, donate or simply leave for another day. If you would rather I tackle the practical sorting for you, we can agree clear instructions first. You stay in control of what is kept, passed on or donated.
You don’t have to do everything alone. Sometimes an extra pair of hands and a kind person beside you can make an incredibly difficult task feel a little more manageable.
A helping hand for someone you love
If you have an older parent or relative who needs a little extra practical support — particularly if you don’t live nearby — I can help there too.
Subject to availability, I can visit once or twice a week, help with groceries and everyday errands, organise and tidy their space and make sure they have the practical things they need. With their permission, I’ll also keep you updated, giving you reassurance when you can’t be there yourself.
This isn’t medical or personal care. It’s simply a friendly, reliable extra pair of hands making everyday life a little easier.
Whatever life looks like right now, we start there.
A house move. A cluttered home. A fresh start. A bereavement. Someone you love who needs a little extra support.
My job is to take something that feels overwhelming and make it feel manageable — with kindness, practicality and care.
Let Little Helping Hand take care of some of the details, so you have more space for the things that matter.
