For sorting after a bereavement, we agree authority over belongings and a pace that suits you. Regular practical help is individually assessed and quoted; we agree the tasks and a suitable visit pattern first. This is practical support, not personal or medical care.

Gift vouchers are by arrangement. Confirm the recipient wants the help, the Cardiff visit is feasible and the voucher terms before buying. Paying for help does not give someone authority over another person’s belongings.

Move In, Settle In also includes up to two hours of planning and one 30-minute follow-up within 14 days of the final visit. Extra time is £35.00 per hour only if agreed. Bereavement sorting and regular practical help are quoted individually.

Planning a Cardiff visit from Bridgend

Travel: Travel is included across Bridgend, Porthcawl, Cowbridge, Cardiff, Penarth, Barry and surrounding areas.
Access: tell me about stairs, lift access, parking restrictions and the distance from parking to your door.
Timing: share key collection, removal delivery or viewing times. We agree realistic visit arrangements; same-day availability is not promised.
Priorities: choose the things that would make the biggest difference. The amount completed depends on the contents, access and decisions.

Moving to Cardiff? Confirm what your movers include

Some firms provide packing and unpacking. Confirm whether that includes putting things away, furniture assembly or taking packaging away before booking separate help. I can then focus on complementary organising tasks: kitchen cupboards, wardrobes and other agreed essentials.

Use the questions to ask your removal firm and explore a larger planned moving project. I do not provide a van, removals transport, heavy lifting, furniture assembly, cleaning or waste disposal. Packing materials and storage products are separate.

What happens to things you no longer want?

You decide what leaves and arrange donations, collections or disposal. Check the service for your home’s council area and the receiving organisation’s current conditions. Options in the Bridgend and Porthcawl guide may not cover Cardiff addresses; confirm before arranging a journey or collection.

Do you cover all Cardiff postcodes?

Cardiff is part of my standard service area, with travel included. We agree access, tasks and a suitable date before booking.

Is travel included in the package price?

Yes. Travel is included. Any parking costs and materials are agreed separately before booking.

Can you organise my whole home?

We can plan a larger project, but no package guarantees whole-home completion. We agree the available time, priority spaces and achievable scope first.

Home styling for viewings

Help your home feel welcoming before estate-agent photographs or viewings. I can lightly declutter and tidy agreed rooms, arrange everyday belongings and add thoughtful finishing touches, such as fresh flowers if you would like them.

What we agree before starting

By agreement, a light entrance or patio tidy can include sweeping and arranging small, safely movable pots. Gardening, pruning, pressure washing, repairs, heavy lifting and waste removal are not included in this organising session. Wider property requirements can be discussed through a separate specialist enquiry. We agree the priority areas and time; no promise of a higher price or faster sale.

Storage solutions

For a home reset or move, I can help measure your space and source practical, attractive baskets, dividers or other storage that suits what you actually need to keep. We sort first, then choose what fits your home and budget.

What we agree before starting

Each item and its price is agreed before ordering. You can buy directly, or we can agree a purchasing arrangement and receipts in advance. Delivery, assembly and wall fixing are not included; no purchase or substitution happens without agreement.

Ask about storage solutions

These are optional priorities within an agreed session, not an automatic extra fee. Sourcing and shopping time count towards the agreed allocation. Any additional time is £35/hour, approved first. Storage, flowers, delivery and other purchases are priced separately and agreed in advance. We never charge twice for time already included in your package.

Downsizing decisions, seasonal changes to wardrobes and getting the first kitchen or bedroom working after a move can also be priorities within your existing session. You don’t need to choose another package.
