INDEPENDENT SERVICES · HELP WITH THE ARRANGEMENTS
From the laundry pile to clothes you can find
I can help look for an independent ironing or laundry service, then organise wardrobes and storage so returned clothes have a useful place. Washing, ironing and dry cleaning are quoted and carried out by the provider. Folding and putting away can be agreed within my organising time.
Serving Bridgend, Porthcawl, Cowbridge, Cardiff, Penarth, Barry and surrounding areas. Travel is included for my own visits.
Ask Carla about the arrangementsBefore anything is booked
I look for a suitable provider for your enquiry; a team or appointment is not already reserved. You decide whether to accept the provider’s quote and terms. Any paid planning or coordination with me is agreed in advance. I’ll tell you if I cannot find a suitable option.
Who does the work
A local ironing or laundry service I find for you. I may fold and put away clothes during an organising visit, but ironing and laundry as a service are done by that service.
Pair it with wardrobe organising
Organising wardrobes gives returned laundry a useful place. We can group everyday clothes, agree storage and leave room for the items you use most.
Getting clothes back where they belong
After a wardrobe edit, I set up zones so returned ironing goes straight onto the right hangers: work, everyday, occasion. It saves the pile on the chair.
A USEFUL FIRST MESSAGE
Tell me these three things
- Whether you need ironing, washing, dry cleaning or a combination
- Approximate quantity and any delicate items to discuss with the provider
- Collection or drop-off preference and required turnaround
A short outline is enough. We can discuss the details together.

The independent provider confirms the actual price, scope and availability. Ask what is included, what could cost extra, and what happens if the date changes. My organising packages do not include this specialist service. Any coordination fee is agreed before I undertake paid work.
Useful questions
What's the hourly rate for an ironing service?
Many ironing services price per item or per basket rather than by the hour. The service confirms their price before the first collection.
Do you collect and deliver?
Many do. I check this before suggesting one.
