INDEPENDENT SERVICES · HELP WITH THE ARRANGEMENTS
Help arranging your end-of-tenancy clean
I help bring packing, moving and the final clean into a workable plan. I can look for an independent end-of-tenancy cleaner, while handling agreed sorting and packing myself. The cleaner confirms their availability, checklist and price before you book them.
Serving Bridgend, Porthcawl, Cowbridge, Cardiff, Penarth, Barry and surrounding areas. Travel is included for my own visits.
Ask Carla about the arrangementsBefore anything is booked
I look for a suitable provider for your enquiry; a team or appointment is not already reserved. You decide whether to accept the provider’s quote and terms. Any paid planning or coordination with me is agreed in advance. I’ll tell you if I cannot find a suitable option.
Who does what
The local cleaner I find for you carries out the clean with their own equipment and products. I don't clean. Where I help is everything around it: packing, labelling and clearing rooms so the cleaner can get straight to work, and timing the clean for after the last box leaves. If you're already booking Move & Settle, the clean simply becomes the last step of the same plan.
What an end of tenancy clean usually covers
Ask for a room-by-room checklist covering the kitchen, bathrooms, surfaces and floors, with appliances, cupboards and windows specified. Use the relevant parts of your inventory to describe the required condition. Share only the details needed for a quote.
Timing it with your move
Plan backwards from the key-handover date: packing, removal, cleaning and final check. Confirm access with each provider. Any extra organising time with me is agreed before it is added.
Carpets and ovens
Ask whether carpets and the oven are included, what treatment is proposed and whether a separate specialist is needed. Different surfaces and appliances need different methods. Obtain the scope and any exclusions in writing.
A USEFUL FIRST MESSAGE
Tell me these three things
- Property size, postcode and key-handover date
- Whether the property will be empty and when the movers finish
- The cleaning checklist, including any carpets, oven or internal windows
A short outline is enough. We can discuss the details together.

The independent provider confirms the actual price, scope and availability. Ask what is included, what could cost extra, and what happens if the date changes. My organising packages do not include this specialist service. Any coordination fee is agreed before I undertake paid work.
Useful questions
How much does end of tenancy cleaning cost?
The cleaner quotes for the property, its condition, access and agreed extras. Confirm whether materials, parking, carpets and the oven are included. My packing and organising work is priced separately.
What should an end of tenancy clean include?
Usually kitchen surfaces and appliances, the oven and hob, bathrooms, inside cupboards and drawers, skirting boards, internal windows and floors. Your check-in inventory is the real standard, so I send the relevant parts to the cleaner with the quote request.
How long does an end of tenancy clean take?
The cleaner estimates the time after assessing the property. Leave room between the move, cleaning and key handover, and agree what happens if your moving date changes.
Does end of tenancy cleaning include the oven?
Often, but not always. Some cleaners include a standard oven clean and charge separately for a deep oven clean. I ask for this to be written into the quote.
How much does carpet cleaning cost?
A carpet specialist quotes for the rooms, stairs, materials and treatment needed. Ask about drying time and furniture access as well as the price.
Can you help me pack as well?
Yes. Packing and unpacking is my own work. See Move & Settle for how two planned days work.
