What does a professional organiser cost in South Wales?
The useful figure is the total for the help you need: the time, agreed tasks and any extras. My first-session option, Fresh Start, is £105.00 for 3 hours. Returning clients can book Keep It Sorted at £60.00 for 2 hours.
I’m Carla, a professional organiser based in Bridgend. These are Little Helping Hand’s own prices, not a claimed average for every organiser in South Wales.
Time alongside you to sort, make decisions and organise agreed belongings. We choose useful priorities before booking. A session books time, rather than guaranteeing a finished room or whole home.
Hourly or package: what’s the difference?
An hourly quote tells you the rate for the time worked; ask about a minimum booking and how any extra hours are agreed. A package sets out a defined amount of help for a stated price. Either can work well when the scope, time and additional costs are clear.
Compare what is included as well as the headline price. Planning, number of organisers, travel, materials and follow-up can differ. My Move & Settle package runs over two planned days, with the time allocation agreed in writing; it does not mean two unlimited working days.

Move In, Settle In also includes up to two hours of planning and one 30-minute follow-up within 14 days of the final visit. Additional time is £35.00 an hour, only if agreed. Bereavement sorting is quoted individually after discussing the work.

How much does a home organiser cost in Bridgend?
With Little Helping Hand, Fresh Start is £105.00 for 3 hours and Home Reset is £205.00 for 6 hours. Returning Keep It Sorted visits are £60.00 for 2 hours. Extra time is £35.00 an hour, agreed first. Travel is included across Bridgend, Porthcawl, Cowbridge, Cardiff, Penarth, Barry and surrounding areas. We agree the focus on a free 15-minute call.
What changes the cost?
- The work: the amount to sort, number of spaces, access and time needed for decisions.
- The dates: a move or viewing deadline helps us choose realistic priorities; dates remain subject to availability.
- The journey: Travel is included across Bridgend, Porthcawl, Cowbridge, Cardiff, Penarth, Barry and surrounding areas. Any parking costs are agreed beforehand.
- Materials and purchases: packing materials and storage products are separate. We agree a budget before any purchase; storage sourcing uses agreed session time.
- Other providers: removals transport, heavy lifting, furniture assembly, cleaning and waste disposal are outside the session. You arrange those separately if needed.

How many hours will I need?
A useful starting point is one area or one moving priority. Tell me what is difficult, roughly how much there is and any deadline. The free 15-minute call is where we work out a sensible first session. I won’t give a whole-house time estimate without understanding the job.
Is it worth paying someone?
Consider whether you need practical hands-on help, time set aside to make decisions, or support before a deadline. You may prefer to start yourself with the small-start decluttering guide. If you want someone alongside you, choose the smallest session that sensibly fits your priorities.

My additional agreed time is £35.00 an hour. The packages above have their own totals and inclusions, so the extra-time rate is not a standalone quote for every job. Ask any provider to confirm their minimum booking and total.
How much does it cost to have someone declutter a house?
It depends on the contents, decisions and scope. Fresh Start is £105.00 for 3 hours on agreed priorities; that is a starting session, not a whole-house price.
Are storage containers included?
No. We use what works already, measure before buying and agree any separate purchases with you. You choose the budget.
Does an organising session include cleaning?
No. My sessions focus on sorting and organising agreed belongings.
