A planned unpacking or packing service. Moving out or moving in? Let me tackle that for you. 24 hours with Carla across four visits, a preparation plan and a follow-up call. Priority rooms and achievable scope agreed before booking.
We can pack and label agreed belongings, unpack kitchen cupboards and wardrobes, or focus on the essentials you need first. You choose the priorities; we agree how to use the time.
One organiser. A defined project after a free fit call and scope assessment. Removals, heavy lifting, cleaning, packing materials, storage products and disposal are excluded. Additional costs, if needed, are agreed before booking.

Sorting after a loss
Sorting a loved one’s belongings can feel overwhelming. I’ll be there to help you work through what to treasure, what to pass on to family and what to donate — bringing practical support, understanding and an extra pair of hands when you need them most.
Practical sorting, with no pressure to let things go. We agree who has authority over the belongings before starting. Donation and collection arrangements stay with you.
Talk to me about bereavement helpA regular helping hand
When the same jobs keep building up, I can help maintain wardrobes and cupboards, organise everyday belongings and work through agreed practical tasks. We choose the priorities, visit length and frequency together. Help for a relative is planned with their agreement.
Quoted individually. Family updates are agreed with the person receiving help. This is practical support, not personal or medical care, emergency monitoring or passenger transport.

Hi, I’m Carla. Helping comes naturally.
I created Little Helping Hand to help people feel calmer and more supported at home. With eight years of experience in the removals industry, I’m also the person family and friends call when a home needs sorting, organising or unpacking. I bring that same practical care to every visit.
You don’t need to know where to begin. We’ll work that out together.

A few useful things to know
What kinds of jobs can we work on?
Wardrobes, cupboards, paperwork sorting, everyday home organisation, downsizing decisions, help with bereavement sorting, and packing or unpacking support. The fit call helps us choose an appropriate starting point.
Can I arrange help for a family member or friend?
Yes. You can enquire or ask about a voucher. We agree the help with the person receiving it, and share updates or photographs only with their permission.
What does “spread over two days” include?
Move & Settle is a planned package, rather than two unlimited full working days. We agree the priorities, time allocated to each visit and what fits within the package before you commit.
What is outside the service?
The timed organising packages do not include cleaning contractors, gardening, maintenance, technical design, removals transport, heavy lifting or waste removal. Specialist project enquiries are welcome through our services page and require separate assessment and written arrangements. Personal care, medication, passenger transport and legal, financial or therapeutic advice are outside Carla’s service.
What happens after I enquire?
We discuss the fit and suitable dates. You receive the scope, total price, payment arrangements and cancellation information before booking. Enquiring does not commit you to paying.
